Skoda Portal

Post by old man » Mon Nov 04, 2019 9:17 am

Does anyone know why the Skoda portal is down and when or if it might be working again ? It's been down for ages now.

Yes it’s been down for ages, but I believe you can download the same maps from the VW portal which is working. The Discovery Pro in the Tiguan All-space is the same as Skoda Columbus.

Candy White 2.0 TSi SE L 7 seat. Heated windscreen/ nozzles, kids pack, front rear parking sensors, reversing camera and spare wheel, Milotec rear bumper inserts.
And for the winter months: 17” Black alloys with 215x65x17 Nokian WR SUV3 winter tyres.

Many thanks KennyR.
It seems there's two separate downloads, one for the database and one for maps. I don't remember it being like that on the Skoda portal and I only did one download from there.
Do you know if I should do both downloads e.g. does a database download include maps or do I just download the map info if that's all I need ?

The Discovery Pro is the same as the Skoda Columbus if you have The Amundsen unit then you need to pick the VW unit that is the same. Then just follow the comprehensive instructions that VW provide at the bottom of the page.
