sim card

hi everyone .im new to the forum . just picked up my new kodiaq sel 7seater . i noticed it didnt come with a sim card . the dealer said it doesnt need one . my last car octavia vrs 245 came with one in a plastic wallet . is the dealer correct because you need it for the infotainment

Your dealer is correct the SEL does not come with a SIM card, nor does it come with an SD card for maps as the maps are installed on the hard drive on the Columbus.
Candy White 2.0 TSi SE L 7 seat. Heated windscreen/ nozzles, kids pack, front rear parking sensors, reversing camera and spare wheel, Milotec rear bumper inserts.
And for the winter months: 17” Black alloys with 215x65x17 Nokian WR SUV3 winter tyres.

Absolutely correct, Columbus has the maps pre-loaded but may not be the latest update. There is an addition SIM card slot that you can use your own SIM card for data connections, most use data via there phones but that’s very much dependant of your phone and the service it supports, I use rSAP

There are two additional SD card slots for audio, photo and video playback,

So for once, a rare occurrence, a Skoda dealer was correct.
It's a 'Kodiaq' and not a 'Bear' unless you are 5 years old.
