Live traffic

Post by Breizhoubzh » Fri Nov 09, 2018 4:50 pm

I would like to have live traffic on my Columbus sat nav.
Do I need to buy a sim card?
If so, which type?

You need to order one of these: https://www.three.co.uk/Free_SIM_MBB/Order

So far for me, the 200MB of free data you get a month has proven ample for keeping the Columbus traffic data up to date. Alternatively, you can use Android Auto / CarPlay to show you traffic data.

Is there an iphone equivalent I can look for? Thanks in advance

Apple CarPlay. Either google maps or apple maps will show you live traffic using the phones data.

In order to use android auto, do I have to connect my phone using a USB cable?

Had one in for a while now and the 200mb seems more than adequate for traffic updates on the nav.
