Real life photo petrol blue please!!

Post by caines » Sat Sep 15, 2018 9:03 am

We are about to order and are deciding between business grey (what a name) and petrol blue.
I'm concerned business grey is a bit too much like silver (which I'm not a fan of personally) and my other thought is petrol blue. I am keen to see exactly what sort of colour it is in real day light, as opposed to under sparkly showroom lights.

Id appreciate any photos.
I need to have decided by Monday!

Thanks

A few of mine - it has less green in it than I thought it had under the showroom lights, but I really like the colour.

I think it benefits from the silver highlights you get on the Scout, but it should give some idea.

Business grey....B O R I N G! and invisible on a wet road at night.
Petrol blue....fantastic colour. I only went for Jungle as I fancied a change from my third Yeti.

Business grey looks OK when clean in daylight but at other times a bit boring. Petrol blue is a better option but I am still finding the standard Kodiaq colours to be bland and uninspiring, it’s about time they have something more exciting, I am assuming these have been held back for the new vRS.
It's a 'Kodiaq' and not a 'Bear' unless you are 5 years old.

Jon,
Don't hold your breath! I have been banging on about thier appallingly boring colour palette with both SUK and my dealer for 2 years.
They produced all sorts of 'fun' colours for the motor shows and then give the customers, probably one of the least exiting choices in the industry.👎👎
They should take a leaf out of Mini or Citroen's book and get with it![

I guess the vRS will have the racing blue and one other bright option when released. That’s probably what I will go for.

I love the petrol blue but really wanted a sportline so couldn’t have it. It’s a lovely colour car!
