Hi there,

I'm a very happy Skoda YETI TDi 4x4 owner. I had a short test drive of the new Kodiaq 2.0L 4x4 and whilst it seemed nice, i was left with the feeling that it was not as robust oras solid feeling as the YETI. I would be curious how others folks find the Kodiaq?
I live in Melbourne Australia.

Picked up a W22 build yesterday evening, did a hundred kilometres, still as amazing as the test drive. Having an experienced VW electronics specialist next to me during the drive was nice, getting through all the menu options and some hidden ones, Waze for Android Auto running and whatnot. A shot at QA though, going over a speed bump managed to shake the GPS antennae connector loose, so a visit back to the shop it is. Other than that, in Northeastern Europe fashion, empty tank and a (pretty darn nice) cake on handover. Ordered April 12.

Cool, congrats!
So, did you get the W22 upgrades, like new bigger touchscreen without rotating buttons?
Any pictures would be great - still waiting on mine's build week, ordered just a few days before you.

The Kodiaq is advertised as coming with under seat storage. With the Edition though I believe you lose it as the space is taken with the seats electrics. It was the same on my last car a Vauxhall Mokka.

Well eight weeks after ordering finally car is ready pick up tomorrow morning (28th) she will be mine :D :D :D :D Pics to follow
8 weeks is very good......shows how haphazard the Skoda build sequencing is! Enjoy.......you'll love it!

Build sequence well out of sequence originally quoted at build week 30 when the order was placed but actual build week was week 25 !!! although you won't here me complaining as a full five weeks earlier that expected 👍👍

When we ordered our car last Monday we were told that, if I recall correctly, due to short supply of the petrol engines at the moment, that diesel Kodiaqs were coming through much quicker than normally expected.

Mine took 2+ weeks.
My dealer told me last week that he expected my car to be on the ship which arrived today.
Looks like the ship doing the rounds between Emden and Dublin is this one if you want to track it :p

Cool,
Very excited that I got an update today mine is on that ship that hit Dublin port today.
My car was bumped from BW39 to BW34 I think, by unethically peeking at his screen..

Was told it may go directly to the dealer instead of some central depot somewhere, difference being pickup in a week or 2 weeks time..

Vico, see you in Mondello Park soon!?

Enjoying mine which was delivered Friday. Hooked up the caravan over the weekend and as hoped this is going to be an excellent towcar. Getting used to the DSG but in general finding it very smooth, quiet, responsive and powerful. Obviously haven't given it any wellie yet but that's to come. Gave her the full Autoglym polish and rainexed the glass .. (that's the full Cornish detailing down here as it will be covered in shite from these country roads in 5 minutes ).

Looks great - what's the colour? (difficult to tell to in the low light). Is it 2WD and 5 or 7 seats?
If it's 5 seats does it have the variable floor?
