Different map SD cards

Post by TCC » Mon Feb 04, 2019 8:35 pm

Hi all,
I have 5L0 051 236 E Europe maps from my Yeti and would like to know if this can be used with the Kodiaq? (Maps listed for Kodiaq is 5L0 051 236 AH - is it just a more up to date map or more fundamental differences?).
Thanks
Kodiaq 4x4 Sportline 190PS, Audi A3 3.2L, Golf MK2 track car, Scirocco MK2 project and Honda CBR650F.

If it’s sportline you are getting it will have the Columbus sat nav unit which doesn’t use SD card for map storage.
Candy White 2.0 TSi SE L 7 seat. Heated windscreen/ nozzles, kids pack, front rear parking sensors, reversing camera and spare wheel, Milotec rear bumper inserts.
And for the winter months: 17” Black alloys with 215x65x17 Nokian WR SUV3 winter tyres.

Correct, Columbus has maps preloaded.
It's a 'Kodiaq' and not a 'Bear' unless you are 5 years old.

Picked the car up tonight, the dealer gave me the CD case with the SD card in and showed me where to fit the SD card.

So does your Sportline have the Amundsen fitted instead of the Columbus unit?

It I believe has the Columbus, the SD card goes in the glove box multimedia unit.

Must be the Amundsen you’ve got for some reason. My SEL has the Columbus and doesn’t have and SD card for maps.
