Boot mat?

Post by Nick Lag » Wed May 16, 2018 4:21 am

Hi.
What is your smartest solution for a boot mat thats flexible and can fit with both 3rd row up and down?

Ive heard someone using a octavia soft mat tjats thin and can be rolled up behind... seems to be a average good solution. Since we live in a flat with public garage its not optimal to remove and carry it up each time we want 7 seats.
Anyone have any better solution /suggestion?

Ive seen this one on eBay, seems to imply that it folds, not sure what quality will be like.

I have one like that from AliExpress. I have used it with the 3rd row up. And it worked quite well. The front part of the mat leans against the rear of the seat. It does stick up a bit, but is a good compromise IMO. I can confirm that it does a good job of containing water as we had a water bottle leak, One very wet mat, but dry carpet. :D. It may not contain the water as successfully if it was folded up for the 3rd row, but is probably better then nothing

Lift up the false floor and remove it. Flip it over an re-insert it.
