Im about to purchase a sport line 2.0 Kodiak. However, on liaising with the local Skoda Dealership they are saying that Skoda give you a 3 month finance holiday, but all of the skoda advertisements state that they actually pay your first 3 months of instalments. Can anyone clarify, as this has potential to change the price of my deal by 1k

The deal is a 45 month repayment profile off an APR of 3.1% (vs their normal APR of c4.3% which you'd pay over 48 months).

You just delay the start of the 45m agreement by 3 months. They don't physically pay the first 3m, the saving is purely in the APR charged.

Took a while for the penny to drop as no one at the dealership I used could actually explain the mechanism of the offer...

I also got an email from a Skoda dealer (TelfordS - not one I used, but I can bet most are doing it in an attempt to kick start their businesses post lockdown) that states:

We pay first 3 months payments*
+
Between £2250 and £4250 towards a deposit*
+
3 years road side assistance*

*This is on the full Skoda range but there are T&Cs as you would expect.

I can send you the email is it's any good to you?
