Kodiaq tyre pressures

Post by torso1 » Tue Apr 09, 2019 4:11 pm

I found that Kodiaq has a very stiff and hard ride on 19” wheels even with dcc. How much you keep tyre pressures in uk?

Here in Finland my winter tyre setup is:
Continental 235/50 R19 103T

I keep tyre pressures about 2,4bar (~34psi) otherwise the ride terrible on these bad roads.

I ride with individual mode:
DCC: normal
Steering: sport
Dsg: normal
Acc: eco
Air condition: normal

...it is very annoying that MY19 Kodiaq won’t keep driving mode setting in memory. The mode is set to normal every time you restart the engine..

I run mine, 235x50x19 Pirelli Scorpion Verde, @ 35 psi and my 215x65x17 Nokian WR SUV 3 winters @ 37 psi and have never experienced a hard ride. I don’t have dcc.
Mine keeps individual mode with steering and headlights set to sport mode 2018.
Candy White 2.0 TSi SE L 7 seat. Heated windscreen/ nozzles, kids pack, front rear parking sensors, reversing camera and spare wheel, Milotec rear bumper inserts.
And for the winter months: 17” Black alloys with 215x65x17 Nokian WR SUV3 winter tyres.
