ARE THERE ANY LADY OWNERS OUT THERE?
This site seems to be a predominately male owner site yet around and about [London] similar vehicles; BMW X5, Range Rovers, Volvo DX 60 & 90. Audi Q5 & 7 etc etc are often seen with female drivers. Are the ladies too busy or do they consider this a boys only club. My wife insisted I change my order from a petrol blue to emerald green a few days before deadline day after she saw a Karoq of that colour in the showroom. What influence have women had on aspects of Kodiaq purchases?

My wife is the primary driver of our one-week old bear (at least until we sell our old car and return to being a one-car family). She absolutely loves it! But she's never gonna hang around an online car forum!

My wife persuaded me to trade in my five year old Superb Greenline, (which she always called a "funeral car"), for the Kodiaq. One of her better decisions, but after 10 months she has yet to sit in the driving seat, never mind drive it.LordJellybelly wrote: ↑Wed Feb 06, 2019 2:54 pmWhat influence have women had on aspects of Kodiaq purchases?![]()

And yet I bet we all have our better halves as named drivers to keep the insurance costs down...
I know I do - I think I could count the number of times my wife drove my LR on the fingers of one hand!
"Ooh, it is big, but I like sitting up high!" was the quote from the first time!

Re: ARE THERE ANY LADY OWNERS OUT THERE?
If we go on longer journeys my wife shares the driving with me. She was never happy driving the "too big" Octavia, but after a few months with the Kodiaq she has decided that her next car will be an SUV, replacing the MPV she currently has. The "I like siting up high!" comment definitely applies here.
She doesn't want or need anything as big as the Kodiaq though, so I have mentioned the Kamiq and the Arona to her.

Ha. I’m the opposite. I fancied Emerald green with beige interior - my wife changed that to petrol blue and I retained the beige interior!LordJellybelly wrote: ↑Wed Feb 06, 2019 2:54 pmThis site seems to be a predominately male owner site yet around and about [London] similar vehicles; BMW X5, Range Rovers, Volvo DX 60 & 90.
