Had my Kodiaq since September 2018 and it has a very annoying rattle coming from the boot cover and wanted to see if a) anybody else had this issue and b) if anybody has managed to solve it?
I took it back to the dealer with a few other faults and they claim to have solved the rattle but they've made no difference whatsoever. Had to leave it with them for 3 days last time for 3 faults and they didn't successfully fix any of them so I'm reluctant to go through that again if I can help i t.
Any ideas?
Thanks!

Re: Rolling boot cover rattle
Are you sure it's the boot cover? Sometimes rattles come from places but sound as if they come from somewhere else. I had a rattle in my Superb that I thought came from the left rear back door. It was only when a front seat passenger thought it came from the right rear door that we discovered that it was a loose tyre gauge in the jumbo box between the front seats! Try driving around with the boot cover removed from the car. If it is the boot cover, is it properly locked into the recesses on both sides?

Have you thought of squirting in a dry lubricant such as WD40 silicone spray?
Worth a try - can’t do any harm.

Had the same problem, took the cover assembly out of the vehicle, sprayed both ends with silicone spray, wiped off the excess and no more noise. Also worked a treat for noisy panoramic sunroof seals on my wifes Nissan Juke
