Anyone with leather/fabric combination interior?

Post by mick74 » Fri Jan 04, 2019 5:46 pm

I was looking for upholstery which would be good at resisting spills and smells (not cloth), wear and tear (not alcantara), and extreme temperatures (not leather).

And found something I hadn't seen in any review:

Has anyone chosen it?

If yes, how does it hold up in practice?

If no, what were the reasons to go with something else?

I live an outdoorsy lifestyle in Central Europe (very cold winters, and very hot summers), and have young kids.

Still waiting on the car so can't say how it will stand the wear of time. But wee choose the black leather/fabric combination. If the materials are good the leather on the edges should wear better than fabric and be easier to clean. I.e from getting to the third row.

We have been driving a demo with it and it is according to my wife also much nicer looking than the current default style interieor ;-)

Thanks. It really looks much more premium than the default cloth upholstery.

Even though somebody claimed that it feels a bit slippery and artificial. Also, not as premium and strong as a full leather interior. Which is probably true, but the leather interior probably wouldn't be a big pleasure at -15° and +35°.

Has anyone else tested or ordered this upholstery and can share his / her opinion?

I'm not sure without checking and I may be wrong, but I don't think this combo is available in the U.K.

Oh, that explains why I can't find any English reviews with this interior!

I'd worked that out,
I was trying to point out, badly, it would appear, that since the vast majority of forum members are U.K. based, he could be waiting sometime for an answer.

I see that now  . Sad to say it, but on the internet subtitles work better than subtlety, and I'm as guilty of that as everyone else.
