What's the status of your orders and what have you been told about delivery date??

I ordered in July and told no WLTP delays car would be here by October (laughing at that now). I basically had to inform the dealer that there were definitely delays and Skoda UK co reacted them to update them that expectation was no by the end of the year.

I'm being updated weekly by Skoda exec office but last few weeks they have just sent me a text to say no update but I've seen people being told not until January for 2.0 TSI deliveries so getting frustrating.

What have you all been told?!

I've not heard off my dealer since I went over to see him..... that was Sept 9th...
I can't be chasing them so now and again I contact skoda chat who update me with "order been accepted by factory no build week", this got boring so I don't bother anymore.
I'm led to believe that the 2.0tsi won't be built until week 7, 11th of Feb so pointless me doing anything apart from cancelling!
IMHO it's a piss poor service regardless of the wltp.

Yes I've seen a few people say they won't start building until next year but mine was built in week 39 and banked.

I'm wondering if there has been a problem and they've stopped building and banking them.

But yes so very little information given to customers is really bad!

I ordered a Kodiaq SEL (5 seats) 2.0 TSI 180 PS 4x4 DSG petrol auto on 4th July, have had scant information from dealers, but was told by email yesterday that the vehicle will be with them in December, no exact date, also told previously that it will be the 190 engine not the 180 as ordered no extra charge. so mixed messages.

Oh that's interesting to hear still expecting this side of the year. Has yours been built already and being held do you know or waiting for build week?

I've not heard from fresh news from my dealer since 1st September. I'm in no rush so quite happy. My order details are in my signature block below.

Well, roundabout this time last year (when there were no complications about emissions testing), I was suddenly notified that my Kodiaq had arrived at the dealer's. I had been given a build date (and that was indeed met). There never was any other prior notification, and no info that I could look up online.
Now, there's more uncertainty, so I wouldn't expect there to be better information available.

I ordered mine on June 22nd. After all the delays I was told it is manufactured and "banked" until last week of November, when the homologation of the Kodiaqs with 2.0 TSI will commence. On Nov. 12 my dealer informed me the delay is until the end of January and there will be absolutely no 2.0 TSI engined cars shipping before that time. I will go tomorrow and either get the only Edition (diesel) available in Bulgaria or get my deposit back and buy something else!

I ordered at the start of April, was originally due to get in in July. I'm still waiting! My last conversation with Skoda Exec Office said they were expecting WLTP confirmation in Week 3 2019 with cars getting to dealers by the end of February. Mine still hasn't been built yet though so I don't hold out much hope of that timescale!

In view of all the miss information and skodas tracking site down with technical issues which I dont believe, I rang skoda again at 0935 this morning, the tracking number my dealer gave me is wrong so after a phone call from skoda to my dealer i eventually found out that my Kodiaq which I was told would be with me in December has not been built, and there is no build date listed and the lady I spoke to at Skoda has no idea when it will be built, So I am being lied to either by Skoda or my dealer I will leave you to judge, I cant believe that a company can treat people with such contempt when they are trying to spend tens of thousands on their product.

I understand why you're upset, but from what you say I "judge" that neither was or is lying.

The dealer had a wrong number and quoted on that basis. An annoying mistake.

Skoda tell you it's not built and don't know when it will be. That may well be true, rather than a lie.

Since Skoda are not yet legally able to complete the deal on your car or others like it (until the model gets emissions approval), they're perhaps unwilling to commit to production.

190 SE L DSG ordered 17th August 2018 for December delivery. Now told to expect in March 2019 !!!
Explanation:
1. Having to change factory emission testing procedures due to VW scandal
2. Engine change from 1.8 to 1.9 means production line issues
3. Issues with Virtual Cockpit

How much is of this is b......t - who knows.

I was close to cancelling but didn't want to cut of my nose.....etc.

Hi, I am also a member at Kodiaq Germany forum. The word on the street is that VW has problems with getting the engines over wltp, they say it is so bad, that the passat still does not have the 2.0 tdi over the wltp, there is some article in German news. Some members reported, that they were informed from their dealers that the 2.0 tsi will not have the green light before February or March 2019. Same was with the 1.5 tsi that i have ordered. It was already produced and waiting at the factory to get the green light for wltp. The day the 1.5 tsi was listed od adac i called my dealer and he checked and found out that my Kodiaq is already in the process of shipping. And 1 week later it was in our country. So the 2.0 tsi is I think facing the same thing, once it will be listed on adac as wltp approved they will start to ship them. 1 week to get to Slovenia and almost 1 month to get to UK. So maybe worth following other forums for some good news.

Regarding virtual cockpit, it is working fine, have tested it and also others who have it are happy.

The Octavia and Superb both have 2.0 TSI models on WLTP approved list so not sure what the problem is with the Kodiaq. I wonder how much more weight there is on the Kodiaq and what the emissions were on the Octavia and superb?!

I went to see my dealer today (in France). The good news is: My 2.0TSI L&K has been built on 16/11. The engine has already been apparently tested, but the homologation itself is expected only in 3rd week of 2019 (news from official email sent to dealers yesterday).
I am slowly getting (mentally) ready for Spring 19 delivery - instead of mid December.

Just been on talking with Skoda... The 2.0tsi SEL I ordered early August Im now told is unlikely to assigned a build week until March 2019 !!! so It doesnt look like I will see anything till April ... An 8 month delivery on new cars is absolutely appaulling Skoda should be ashamed of themselves

Another trip to the dealers today, I must say dealership management have been kept in the dark by Skoda as much as I have, a new banked list came out a couple of days ago and mine is on it but dealers says no build date but vehicle shown as expected delivery December but like me he has no faith in that, he states he will stand by the part exchange price, and will pay for my next service due in January, I want to walk away and cancel the order but my wife is set on having the car and it is causing some arguments, I dont know what to do, but one thing is certain, Skoda should stump up some compensation for the whole debacle, does anyone know if the have a compensation scheme.?

There's not much difference in weight, but the Kodiaq has a very slightly worse coefficient of drag, and a significantly greater frontal area - enough in combination to make fuel consumption 20-30% worse. It no doubt affects emissions in a fairly chunky way, too, so the Octavia and Superb will have gone through early as "low hanging fruit", to keep up some cash flow!

Over 20 days since last post on here so a Merry Christmas to all and back to the top (in case anyone has some fresh information).🎄🎄

Ordered my 2.0 TSI by the end of September 2018 but still no build week, AFAICT is the same issue for all the european countries due to WLTP delays.

According to my dealer they'll start building on February but IMHO that's WISHFUL THINKING, anyway, we'll see on the next months...

Honestly, if it weren't for so many configuration options, space and affordable price I'd give up...

Ordered in April.

Calm down...
