New - Embedding Media

Post by Rob » Thu Apr 12, 2018 1:25 pm

I'm pleased to announce an update to the forum which will allow you to embed media much more easily.

For sites like Youtube, Twitter, Instagram, Facebook etc. just copy and paste the link into your post as normal, the forum will then display the video, tweet, post etc.

I assume that posting my own pics here entails putting them on a photo hosting site first e.g Flickr, but how do I import a pic that I've copied from another website ?
On the other forum I'm a member of it's possible to just copy and paste a web pic to a thread, but I'm unable to do it here.

Hi,
In a full reply or new post, under the post button you should see an attachments icon, click on this and you can then browse pictures from your phone, tablet or PC and upload directly to the forum.

If you want to paste an image from another site, again on a full reply, click the picture button, it’s just above the smilies.

Thanks
Rob
