Hello
When I ordered my Kodiaq, I went for the spare wheel option.
Should i also have received the tyre repair kit as this comes as standard?
Thanks
Grant
Has anyone experience of using tyre repair gunk? SWMBO's Rapid is now due to have the Skoda issued "gunk" replaced and I see that there are several alternatives available from Halfords etc. to the very expensive Skoda marketed stuff. Is it false economy to go for the cheaper alternatives?

My understanding, limited though it is in this regard, is that the gunk renders the tyre unrepairable which if true (I accept it may not be) would mean they are all the same.
The Skoda stuff is supposed to be able to be flushed out of tyre so as permanent repair can be made, other types might not be so and a new tyre instead of repair.
Thanks for the replies guys, but has anyone actually used the "gunk"? and with what results?
