Park Pilot Off Switch ?

Post by old man » Fri Nov 30, 2018 2:01 pm

Is there an easy fix to turn off the Park Pilot bleeper when I'm reversing - towards my caravan in this case.

My previous car had a bleeper off switch on the centre console, but the only thing I can find on my SE L Kodiaq is a volume control on the infotainment screen in car settings which is a pain in the arxxe to fiddle with compared to a simple off button.

My tow hitch and wiring is aftermarket, not a Skoda system.

Here’s a button on the screen where the sensors are.
BW32 2017 Skoda Kodiaq 2.0 TDI Style 5 Seater in Quartz Grey Metallic + Sirius rims, Extended Warranty, Panoramic Sunroof, heated washer jets, sleep pack, rear heated seats, 3rd key + driver profiles

Aha found it now, thanks Zak. I saw the icons on the screen yesterday but they weren't active for some reason, so I assumed they were there for another purpose.

After your reply I took the car out and reversed up to a concrete wall which made the icon light up.

Thanks once again. :D
