I have reported loose trim nearside front passenger door handle. I've also other loose trim internal and external. Build quality is nearing the worst I've had (Fiat Punto); trim kept falling off it.
Driving since May 2017 a 1.4TSI 2WD DSG Edition in Petrol Blue. Car finally sorted after 9 trips to workshop. Currently running on "winter boots".

For me that is not acceptable! Did that happen immediately after you got the car? Are the doors the only shitty part? Damn! I've forgot on squeaky steering wheel. My Kodiaq will cost the same as four Dacias but at the end it will be worse than any Dacia. :(

What trim outside MP ?
It will make me feel better if I am not the only one as I thought I was !
Both my front wing external lower plastics have come away a bit.

I already said its likely teething issues, but I will also say the door handles do feel cheap.
I guess the trouble is they use the same parts on a 23k base model as they do the top of the range one costing 70% more.
If only they had, the Superb has soft touch plastic on half of the grab handle.

I don't suppose you have a good pic of the superb complete door interior Gizmo68 ?

Edit found a S3 door card on ebay, looking at it, If the Kodiaq is made the same way, then the whole card will need replacing, handles are not removable fixings, but some sort of (plastic?) rivet ... http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/2016-SKODA-SU ... Sws5pZIuuz

The whole of the arm rest is soft touch, the switch area and inside the pull handle is hard plastic.

See edit above.
Doesn't look like I can swap the handles for S3 ones as they are different shapes.
I am guessing then, that all my door cards need replacing under warranty

That's the problem with K!!! Actually Kodiaq's handle is put together from two pieces. Idiots!!! That's the most unstable design for such heavy doors. I wonder if Kaban was not exiled to BMW?

Well it went in today, and the service centre has submitted the claim, hopefully it will get sorted without a fight.
It might seem small issues, but it has got me wound up some, so I hope to goodness its sorted without fuss.
Like I said at the beginning, these things do happen, the way that they deal with it is the acid test.
