Hi all
Had the sos warning light come on the dash today and the yellow triangle says SOS emergency call restricted Workshop.
anyone know what it could be, is it a trip to dealers to get a reset or is it something thats going to take a bit longer. :(

I had two trips to the dealer to sort mine out.
It turned out to be a hardware problem. But since it was nearly 2 years ago I can't remember exactly what it was .....sorry!

I've had the same for the last 6 months.. I've held off going to the dealer until it's first service which is now booked for tomorrow.
They have arranged a courtesy car for me for 2 days .. hopefully it will get fixed in that time.

I fixed this on mine by doing a reboot of the infotainment system. That was about 7 months ago and it has not happened again.

On columbus keep pressing on the on/off button on the touchscreen until it reboots. I can't remember if I had to reinstall the stored radio stations.

Mine has been in today and problem fixed. There was a recall flagged on the system regarding the SOS control unit. They have done the necessary with software upgrade which they have referred to as 'Campaign 91R2' .. also had the rubber door protectors adjusted.

Hi, I’ve had this issue for 1 year now. (Since car was new) it has been in 3 twice and each time I have been told it has been fixed. Then within 2-3 days same thing happens again. Had the car in yesterday for its first service and was told there was no new updates in software but I read above that there was. Getting fed up of the problem now. Becomes so annoying after a while

Had my SOS fault fixed a couple of weeks ago - had to have the SOS unit, wiring and connector replaced under Warranty, and seems to be fine now. It had been alerting on every drive in the week before it went to the dealer - there is a definite fault on the original SOS install, so don't be fobbed off by your dealer.

Have got the ‘sos’ warning coming on along with the low tyre pressure on front left tyre.
Have got the car booked in for dealership to sort out hopefully in a couple of weeks.

Had the car in today to sort this out. Turns out it required a software update.
Job done and sorted.
