vehicle type plate

Post by airshod » Wed Dec 05, 2018 5:10 pm

I have looked for the vehicle type plate, trying to find the front and rear axle weights, and (before someone mentions it) the manual states:
The type plate is located at the bottom of the B pillar on the right-hand drivers side.

No it isn't. does anyone know where it is?

Have you looked on the LEFT side? We RHD lot are often second class citizens as far as manufacturers are concerned. Behind a carpet flap on the chassis rail at the bottom of the B pillar?

Mine is where it says it is in the manual.

I've just checked mine, and it also is exactly where the manual says it should be, bottom of the B pillar down by the sill on the driver's, (right hand), side.

FMOB, thanks all!

I looked as far as the label at seat height, showing the tyre pressure monitoring. Thanks for lifting the cloth from my eyes - very useful!

Funnily enough, I hadn't noticed the tyre pressure monitoring label until I looked for it just now as a result of your post!
