Bit of both really , to be honest just wanted to see how 22 would fit. Conclusion is 10" wide is a little too much much on the kodiaq . These will be refurbished and sold on to fund something else

i love how much better the kodiaq looks with bigger wheels on it
absolutely transforms the car nut i have no clue as to what you can do with wheels?

how big can you go on the kodiaq and how much comfort will you really sacrifice?

i do about 6000 miles per year so not a lot of driving

Most you'd wanna do is 21" with 35/40 profile rims

Fitting of any of the type of wheels mentioned above WOULD negate both the warranty AND your Insurance unless advised and they probably would either load your premium or cancel the policy!

so is that due to the combinations of wheel and tyre or can you just not fit 21s

You guys over in the U.K. are so bureaucratic... If I got 21" wheels fitted to the car, would they have turned me away for my various trim issues? I know Skoda NZ wouldn't - that's bloody ridiculous.

You can fit em, but your insurance won't be happy. I refuse to believe Skoda will invalidate your whole warranty for different rims!

Any non standard wheels ( or almost any non standard anything) will cause problems with insurance in the U.K. They won't miss any opportunity to dismiss a claim.
As far as the warranty is concerned, it won't affect the whole warranty, as I understand it, only the bits it concerned, so presumably in the case of aftermarket wheels,, you would be stuffed warranty wise if the wheel bearings went. Which they would be quite likely to if you put on wheels with more than the designed offset. But I would not be surprised if anything went wrong with the suspension or brakes that they would take the opportunity to dismiss a warranty claim if a/market wheels are fitted.
Personally I think it is just too much hassle to warrant the cost. I'll stick with what I've got!
