Driving the Kodiaq this morning, a message blipped up on the info pane (between speedometer and rev meter).
The message was only visible for a fraction of a second. Not long enough for me to able to read the entire message, but I am 100% sure it had the words "SOS" in capitals in it.

I just logged in on Skoda Connect and requested a Health Report. The report came back clean.

Has anyone here ever seen a message containing "SOS" in it? If so, what does it pertain to?
Can I consult a log of recent messages, or could the dealers?

Should I bother the dealer at this stage, seeing as the car obviously rescinded the SOS immediately and it's the first time I noticed this message?

It maybe had a communication blip that meant the emergency call button wasn't going to work.
I've only seen it whilst my maps were updating whilst I was driving and the infotainment system was shutting itself down.

I agree with Hugh. It has it's own SIM card, so you might have simply gone through a dead spot.
