I have no idea what the presenter is saying but it is good to see the Kodiaq handling the snowy conditions with ease. For me one the reasons for going with 4WD.

I have a 4x4 Octavia (until the Kodiaq arrives) and spend a lot of time in Swiss Alps. It has the same part-time system and is amazing in snow.

Run snow tyres there in the winter / it's the law. Never been stuck. Have chains but never needed them.

4WD seems to support well.
