For those of you with caravans over 7m shipping length (IE total including A frame/hitch); the AA , who provide the cover for Skoda and the VW grouo, will NOT recover caravans exceeding 7m. This is specific to the VW group cover. If you have a separate policy with the AA they WILL recover the van if it's over 7m total length.
My Bailey Unicorn is 7.35 and I now need to find separate cover for when I'm towing.
The same also seems to apply to other 'free' cover that I have bundled with insurance that u have.

If you are a Motorhome and Caravan Club member you can get a reduced annual subscription with Green Flag who will recover caravans over 7m in length, I was aware of this situation so asked when joining Green Flag to be told there is no length issue providing you join through the Motorhome and Caravan Club.
