Skoda Connect hasn't updated for 7 days.

Logged out. Logged in. Restarted the app. Anyone else seeing this problem?

Mine is not updating (since I tested if 'honk and flash' would make the car 'honk and flash' :lol:)

Now refuses to refresh for the last 8 days

I think the Skoda Connect system may have a basic flaw. I tried honk and flash and then the next time I looked at it the car had driven itself 780 miles and parked, unlocked and with only 31 miles of petrol left in MLADA BOLESLAV!! Perhaps it was homesick and trying to get home but it was 77 miles away from Kvasiny. Perhaps It couldn't manage to operate the satnav on its own. :lol:
Connect refuses to correct itself and no matter how much I fiddle, re-installing etc,etc NUTTEN! :roll:
So once again, although nice to have, it is not essential. So, contrary to others opinion that I am depressed ;) , I can't be bothered. Next time I'm in the New Forest I will let Meadens try and sort it out. If they can't, who cares? Not me!
I love the car so much I can put up with all the little irritations and have decided to stop 'scratching them'!
I don't even care that it does 10 MPG less than the Yeti. It is all worth it to own the best car I have ever had! :D

Sadly I to have the same issue.
Did try to ring Skoda but they had no idea how to solve it.
My kodiaq has not updated for 16 days now. Yet everything else working fine. Popped in to showroom at Newbury they too seemed rather baffled. But awaiting a response as to what to do either by phone or dropping car back in.
As I have told them, it is not the fact the App or the online section is not working, but should I or my wife have an accident ( God forbid ) then Skoda could end up sending the emergency services to the wrong area if they go by car position. Will update this should I hear from Skoda.

I also rang SUK Customer Services & after being told by the chap that he would consult the 'Connect' specialist' he told me I would have to go to the dealer. When I told him that was a 40 mile round trip , he simply repeated that they could not help & I should go to the dealer.
It is Skodas [email protected] app, they should take a bit more interest in getting it put right. Not persistently abrogate their responsibilities by pushing the problem onto the poor old dealer network.

I've been trying to reconnect 'Connect' today. The system gives me pin number and tells me to put it into infotainment.
Connected to internet by picking up home WiFi.
Instructions say......
"Press menu. Press Connect. Put pin in , press ok".
There is NO connect space into which I can put the pin?
All I have is POIs.maps,weather etc.
Am I being a prat? Or what?
Help appreciated.

I may be wrong but if you have those things up on screen then you are already connected. I have about 8 or 9 tiles with POI, Maps, News etc and that's it. If the Connect isn't working I don't think that you can get to that point in the first place.

Ah! But there are two parts to the problem.
My 'Connect account' is working i:e; my dealer can tell when the car does/needs whatever.
What I am trying to do is get the car to send info to my Android 'phone. Which it cannot/will not do until I put the given pin number into the car. The problem is, there is nowhere to enter the pin.
Unless I am ...........
A, a completer prat (likely!)
or
B.Looking in the wrong place (though I have been right through the entire menu on the car)
or
C.There is a problem with the system.
My money is on the latter!

Havin the same problem. Connect not updating. Tried both app and Skoda portal on computer. 9 days now. Sent e-mail to Skoda customer services 3 days ago but no reply.

Did anyone have a result yet and get connect working again. Not a big problem, but the ocd in me would like it fixed.

In my case, twice it didn't work. I started my car and tapped on the refresh button in the Skoda Connect mobile app. Then it started to work again. I am suspecting the internal SIM.

Having said that , the Skoda connect website is down as you get a HTTP 500 error after login ... Looking forward to meeting my dealer this afternoon for collection and set up of Connect ...

Ok, so after about 10 days of not working, checked connect app again today and remote access is working. My drive today was recorded, but none of the journeys during the ten days it was down are recorded. Not really a big deal, but I like things working as they should.

For info I did not change anything or attept to reset anything, it just seemed to come back of its own accord. I did however contach Skoda Customer Services by e-mail. They did not reply, but its possible they sorted something 'in the ether'.

Not checked my iOS app for a couple of weeks, just opened it and it doesn't appear to show the option of my vehicles location anymore or the option to honk/flash??

I cannot even log on! If I try to log on it says my password is invalid. If I try to get my password resent it says my email is not registered. If I try to create a new account it says I can't because my email is already registered...

My dealer has been very good at chasing Skoda UK but no solutions yet - but I did have an email from the dealer on Thursday saying that there is a known fault across the UK with Connect - so I am not surprised we are all having some issues.

I keep getting passed on to Customer Services, who keep having to escalate things to their "escalation team". Needless to say, it's like telephone / email ping pong...

Nothing has been solved yet...

My connect app seems to be working (parking pos, mileage, fuel etc) but in the car, the "Skoda Connect" always gives an error (so no online services such as weather, parking etc). I've also noticed that the google earth option is no longer available. I assume theres an ongoing connect issue?

Google Earth has been working fine in mine for weeks, but have had the odd time where Connect wasn't available.

Worked fine for first two weeks .. then stopped updating since 1st October. All my journeys from September have disappeared also.
Tried the one app also .. so far recorded one journey of 2 miles at 20 mpg which was costed at £2.63 with a default price per gallon at £5.36 .. struggling to work that one out !?

Dalglir - Did it sort itself out or have you had to refer to dealer / warranty ?

Any other people having problems or know of a solution .. now 10 days without Skoda Connect updating .
