Fantastic. I cannot wait to get my hands on mine. If I get it when promised (May 13th - I hope that is not an omen!!!) my first trip is to Scotland to visit family from the South Coast.

Very nice! How did you get Crater wheels on an Edition or did you buy those as an add-on?

Bought as accessory, dealer swapped tyres and fitted before handover.
The dealer gave me a discount. and Skoda CS gave me £500 towards them too :)

Errr.. dunno, only driven from dealers to home, and traffic meant just had to go with the flow, but seems quiet, was expecting more wind noise as its a large frontal area (compared to the outgoing Octavia) but seems its certainly no worse in that department at motorway speeds.
Did get a quick play of adaptive cruise, that's a nice upgrade from std.
Tommorow is dedicated to detailing while the kids are at school !
Friday should see a reasonable run, and return at night so I will find out how the LED lights are.

This (first) time round:
Specified I didn't want the dealer to "polish" it.
Valet Pro Snow foam, Auto Glym Shampoo 2BM, Iron-X to get rid of all the railway dust etc
Fusso99 on bodywork, Hellshine Abyss on glasswork, Auto Finesse Revive on plastics (after the first few pics), Autoglym Tyre dressing applied with MF Pad to give satin/matt finish.
The wheels I had coated with Gtechnic G5 before fitment, so just wiped them over with a bit of AG wheel polish sprayed onto a MF cloth.
Next time will be SF, Bilt Hamber Auto Wash 2BM and top up the Fusso with Adams H20 Guard & Gloss.

Got the BH Shampoo and Adams H20 specifically to help with water spots as being in a hard water area they are a nightmare.

Thanks for the details. I'm starting to build up my kit prior to the delivery ( hopefully July ) .
