2017 Kodiaq Edition owner since last week. Can anyone tell me what distance from the car keys should be kept (i.e. at work/ overnight) so the signal can't be hacked, please? Or is it best to have a metal tin for key storage? First car I've owned which has this entry/start system.
Thank you.

Ruth, I'd disable KESSY when you lock the car - lock as normal and then press button on the door handle within 5 secs.
Also, invest in a faraday pouch/container in which to keep your keys, just in case. They only cost a few quid.
