In settings-screen you can select screen off after 10 seconds. But this reverts to screen on permanently after restart. Is there a way to save this setting?

No. I complained about this, especially when in a loaned Fabia which did save that setting. I have been told there's no current fix.

Press (or turn can't remember which as I never run mine off )
The bottom left hand, volume button. That should turn the screen off permanently.

Yes. But also turns media etc off. Maybe the Skoda computer bods will have a fix sometime.
