Hmm, not sure it would be much use then if it turned the camera view off as soon as you selected D - it's meant to allow you to see objects so that you don't hit them at low speed. Not much use if it turns off the moment you start going forwards?

Wow, I just had to to write this. The logic in this post makes my head hurt. When you select D, it means the vehicle has now stopped and the next action will be moving forward. What objects are we to avoid that are BEHIND us at this point?
