Hello there! Iam waiting for my kodiaq style 4x4 and iam so excited. I choose the business grey color. I have two questions.
1. I dont have rear camera. can i put one aftermarket or else? I have sensors front and rear!
2. What about park assistant. can i put one in the future?

Thank you

Welcome

The rear camera can certainly be retro-fitted, it will probably cost more than it would have from the factory though.

I do not know of anyone who has retro fitted park Assist though.

I would suggest you see how things are after getting the Kodiaq. Chances are, you may not even feel the need for it. My Mercedes can self park, but I've used that feature only 3 or 4 times in 4 years (and a few more times to show off to my friends and relatives! :) ). On one occasion, the spaces were tight, and the car stopped attempting after putting itself in a very awkward position.

Find your nearest auto electrician and they'll be able to fix you up with a camera and link it in to your screen.

Sadly no, the Kodiaq is simply too new for people to have done these types of modifications.

The second looks more like the one on the Kodiaq because it has the nozzle to spray water over the lens. Of course that might give you another headache in the fitting if the plumbing isn't there.

I'd be interested to see if anyone manages to have this fitted, we have a Kodiaq Edition on the way and although we have front and rear sensors my wife is used to having a camera.

Hello,
I used VAGtec,co.uk in October on my Skodiaq and recommend . Specialise in VAG group and have a Skoda department. They retro fitted front sensors and the Reversing Camera High version ( the one with the moving yellow guide lines) at home on the drive.

Would certainly recommend the camera to any one still pondering extras on their new build Kodi , as the view out of the rear from the drivers seat is not good for tight spots.
I would suspect the full "park assist " , where the car drives / parks itself , is a factory fitted on initial build only option , but I don't know unless it relies on the / can be added to the Adaptive Cruise Control system ??
I haven't seen it advertised anywhere else as a specific item as an extra.

The Park assist has been around for a few years now, my 2014 Superb had it, but anything seems possible these days.
Good luck and safe driving.
