My PHEV is not charging to 100%, this is despite setting the charging limit to max. It seems to charge to 80-85 and no further. I am wondering if the fact that I have now added preheating to the mix if that is confusing things.

The car is set to preheat (at 7 AM) and my cheap rate (via Ohme) stops at 5. I wonder if that when my cheap rate stops at 5, the charge stops and then starts again to get to 100% and doing the preheat, this then resets to 80% max change as it is a "new" charge? Any tips?

Slightly aside to that, is there a way in which the 80% limit can be permanently set 100%? I can't find one......

Ohme chargers, more accurately the Ohme app, is not fit for purpose. The APIs simply dont work, certainly not for VAG Group cars (Seat, Cupra, Skoda, VW, Audi), but I have also seen API problems on Ohme forums that also affect Volvo, Kia, BMW, Mini, Hyundia, Ford,MG and Renualt.

I have asked for support from Ohme regarding the continual pairing problems with the Ohme app and (in my case) my Volvo account. The response was poor.

i also noticed the preconditioning of the car drains the battery even when pugged in, my expectaion would be the preconditioning would initiate the Ohme app to ‘smartly’ charge the battery during this process. It doesnt.

it would appear that many Ohme customers use the % top up method and not the misleading smart functions on the app.

The charger was included free with the car, if not I would not have bought one ot ig i had it would have been returned by now. Really has very poor application of technology.
