Has anyone had this done once they've collected their car? Have never rated the stuff done via the dealer so we're considering this as an option to get the paintwork looking perfect.

Thanks.

Hiya,

There's a detailed thread on this topic. https://www.kodiaqforums.co.uk/viewtopic.php?f=17&t=309

The general theme is don't go for the dealer option....you can get it done more professionally elsewhere for the same price.

I had mine professionally detailed using a nano-ceramic (hydrophobic) coating.....love it, and so easy to wash!

Hi Sprower,
Any chance you will share which local detailer you used.

Hiya,

I used http://www.idealvaleting.co.uk who are based down near Billingshurst. Their "New Car Detail" cost £500 including glass and alloys also treated. Dave is the owner there and is fantastic.

Welcome to drop me a PM and have a look at mine if you're interested. It really changes the way dirt etc. sits on the car. Easy to wash, and great "beading" of water when it rains.

If I can jump on the £2k deposit contribution from skoda on my finance then I might get gtechniq applied. Otherwise I won't be bothering.
