A week in......

- I swapped the silver Triglavs for black (via the dealer....they removed and replaced)

- Fully detailed including a nano-ceramic (hydrophobic) coat. It doesn't really show it in these pics......but lovely beading when you're driving in rain.

So far I'm very happy with the car. No issues. I've done 500 miles (of which about 300 has been motorway, about 75 miles has been short local trips, and the remainder has been longer trips on A roads) and am averaging 38MPG at the moment......not bad for this engine, and bearing in mind I've not really been trying for economy, with a mix of Normal and Sport mode (forget Eco.....that's pointless!).

Hi, did your dealer take your original wheels off you as part ex? I'm considering swapping my Triglavs for the black ones but don't want 4 wheels sat in my garage. I know I can sell them privately, just wondering what you did with yours?

Looking good.
Triglavs look much better in anthracite or black. :)

Far cheaper to take the car to an alloy wheel specialist and get it painted to the exact colour. I've been quoted £75 to £85 per wheel.

Hiya,

To answer a few of the questions above.......

- The dealer swapped the tyres over, but didn't take the silver ones back, so I still have them. When I get around to it I'll advertise them (though had considered keeping them in case I want winter tyres). However, I did negotiate a "buy 3 get 1 free" deal on the new alloys.

- I did consider getting the alloys painted but I never think they would come up as well......and because of the "3+1 deal" I got, and if I do sell the silver alloys for a fair price, it would work out at about the same price anyway.

- Regarding the nano-ceramic (hydrophobic) coating, I got this done at a professional detailers. Ideal Valeting near Billingshurst in West Sussex. Excellent service, and I would definitely recommend for anyone local. www.idealvaleting.co.uk

Snap! Same colour, same wheels.

I sold my silver triglav originals for 480 on eBay. Could've got more probably but was happy to get rid of them quickly as I don't have the space, and that covered my costs. The buyer was another kodiaq owner so they went to a good home!

Enjoy the car - and welcome to the rare black triglav and quartz grey combo club 😁

Rare ? there is at least 2 of you now
Craters on the other hand ... ;)
My Triglavs don't seem to have garnered interest on forums, but I ain't selling on ebay for various reasons, so if no one wants 'em, I'll keep 'em.

Lol, Savage - your Craters are still in a class of their own! (And thanks again for the assistance on the alloy upgrade!).

I can understand the eBay concern: I felt the same way, but worked out ok. Buyer already had triglav but wanted them as spares potentially for winter wheels etc.
