I have been offered the following -

KODIAQ EST 2.0TDI SE L 4X4 DSG 7ST
36 months 10k PA
Initial Rental - £1079.46
Monthly - £359.82

Incs: Metallic Paint, Front Parking sensors (Rear parking sensors already included in the SE L) and park assist.

Do you guys think that is a good deal?

Any one know the costs of park assists and blind spot assist individually?

I have just put my deposit down on this PCH:

http://cc-cloud.skoda-auto.com/CarCard/93918342

Matt's and alloy pedals included in deal so exclude from above listed extras.

3 years, 10k, £2590 initial, £438 pm in vat. So as we all know this includes RFC, AA cover and as its 3 years warranty, will just mean 1 service @ £299.

Iv pritty much had everything bar vented seats, DCC and heated element in windscreen (we still have a blower) and my missus Ford has only used it twice this year so far and were in N.Wales so blower is good enough.

£310 a month (23 months = £7130)
£1800 deposit
24 months / 10k

Total cost of lease over 2 years = £8930

averages to £372 a month

-------
The latest deal I have received -

Edition 2.0TDI DSG 3+23 10k pa

Options - FOC Metallic Paint, Lane Assist and Blind Spot Detection, ISOFIX on front passenger seat, Children's Pack, Park Assist

£312.74 inc VAT * 23 = £7193.02
3 * £312.74 = £938.22

Total cost of lease over 2 years - £8131.24
£8131.24 / 24 - £338.80 per month

Blind spot £900.
Parkassist£650.
This is how Skoda make their money , by ripping the customers off for the extras.
I really don't see how blind spot can cost more than park assist, I would have thought it was far more complicated to park the car rather than just have a little sensor in the door mirror that warns you when another car trespasses into your blind spot.
£350 for FRONT sensors is a joke. They word it carefully on the configurator to read front AND rear sensors. Omitting to tell you that the SE L has rear sensors anyway!
Do you HAVE to have both the above? I would not bother with either. Especially for £1,550!!
I have driven since I was 17 and when with Shell was covering 30,000 miles a year. In all that time I have only had one close shave with a blind spot incident. You can buy 2 blind spot mirrors for £4.95.
No brainer really ;) I have had park assist on a Merc (fitted as standard , so I did not have to pay for it.) and it is really just a gimmick. I am the original [email protected] parallel parker and Although useful in some circumstances, I wouldn't waste my money on it.
I did however go for the front sensors on my Kodiaq as I recently has a mild scrape in the Yeti which cost me £350 (not worth claiming as my excess is £250) Since the K is bigger than the Y I thought it a prudent choice!
