Just thought I would get this up and running.
I have a Superb 170 dsg estate which has been my faithful tow car for the last 7 years. It has towed our caravan all over the British Isles and France 'without a hitch'. (Sorry!!)
My last trip with the Superb and caravan will be to the North of Scotland over Easter as my new Kodiaq 190 dsg Edition was being built this week and will be with my dealer in Northern Ireland in early May.
Just wanted to hear of anyone's experience towing with the Kodiaq (particularly caravans), and any hints, tips or observations.
The folding tow bar looks very handy and I like that the 13 pin socket is on the bar and not on a flimsy bracket.
One minor issue is that I will have to change the 'foot kit' on my bike rack as the roof rails sit much closer down on the Kodiaq than the Superb.
Really looking forward to towing with the bear and will post my thoughts when I do. In the meantime it would be great to hear of other people's experiences with caravans or trailers.
