Hi all,

Don't know why, but spidey sense was tingling last night in the car....... in my mind, the sportline sits between the SEL and Edition models in the line up - think I read that a few times in reviews.... But just double checked the Skoda website, and it states it's based on the SE.

Now the big question I have is ...... does it come standard with adaptive LEDs?

I'll be calling the dealership this afternoon to check, but thought I'd check with the prime font of all knowledge first. !!!!

(I think the reason I double believed it was LEDs weren't on the option list.....)

Help!!

Cheers,

Gordie

Cheers!

Think I may have worked it out - seems to be a typo on the Skoda release. Think they missed off the "L".

Thanks for the link to the specs, very helpful!

Panic averted.......

It certainly looks like it's based more on SE L spec than it is SE. Also seems like an extra £3k is an awful lot extra for what is essentially just sportier looking trim and larger wheels. The Edition represents much better value in terms of useful/usable kit.

Thanks All.

Yeah - putting it down to a typo on the website - definitely based on the SEL. I looked at the Edition too, but maybe my inner child / mid life crisis pushed me into the bigger alloys and black "jewelry" adornments.

Had a rental with lane assist, blind spot detection, and to be honest switched off the LA, just didnt float my boat.

Everyone seems to be agreeing on the opinion that the Sportline is based on SE L spec, so comparing apples with apples:

Sportline 1.4tsi 150 4x4 - £33,120
Sportline 2.0tdi 190 - £37,120

SE L 1.4tsi 150 4x4 - £30,010 (£3,110 less)
SE L 2.0tdi 190 - £34,470 (£2,650 less).

It depends what you want really, but to spending that amount of extra cash for mostly cosmetic reasons isn't really great value imo. The Edition certainly has better kit for the money.
