Is there anyone running a 1.4 150 Manual 4x4 that can offer real world mpg figures.

There are at least 3 people on the forum who have declared a spec of a 1.4 tsi with awd and a manual box who might be able to help, though I don't think it is a popular combination.

I have the 1.4 150 4x4 and have just checked my mpg
Long Term 1089 miles, averaging 29 mph, 35.2 mpg
Since Refuelling 243 miles, averaging 32 mph, 36.5 mg
Last trip 88miles, averaging 32 mph, 35.2 mpg
Most of the miles are around Snowdonia and Northumberland on country roads

Motorway driving I'm getting about 38mpg at 60 mph just now only done 700 . It's creeping Up slowly. local driving short journeys I'm getting 35 just now but it is getting better. You can feel the stiffness in the car easing off as time goes on. Expecting to get about the 38/40 mark once it beds itself in.

I know mine is 2X4 AND DSG but I would agree with Thomas on the urban figure. My 60mph figure is lower but the car has only don 460 miles.
I too will keep this thread updated as mileage increases.

Just returned from a 38 mile trip in 65 minutes most at 50-60mph and achieved 41.2mpg in 'E' mode. Now just turned 500 miles from new.
