Re: About to order a car. Need clarification on points

If it's the same as the Yeti the N/S door mirror will dip in reverse but only on cars with electric drivers seat.

My Yeti certainly did.

Re: Spotted

I passed my first Kodiaq just before the Cuilfail Tunnel in Lewes today. It was black and didn't have led DRLs (perhaps S or SE?). The S and SE DO have LED DRLs. They aren't in the headlights as the higher spec models but in the foglights but they are LED. I haven't seen another on the road yet but...

Re: Milenco Caravan Mirrors

To use a Milenco mirror on a Kodiaq you need to buy the angled adapters for the clamps (the edge of the mirror has a "step" which prevents the standard clamp from gripping properly). Cost me £8 from Davan near Weston-S-Mare. I put mine on and they gripped just fine. Admittedly I only took the van a...

Re: Hello from Reading

Has anyone else noticed that the 5-seater Edition is no longer available with Canton and spare wheel? I tried to get one of each but was told they are not available on the Edition trim. Have seen a lot of users on this site with this combination though! I think the Edition trim level has only just ...

Re: 1.4tsi se with chrome pack

I think the extra for sat nav is a bit steep when I just plug my phone in and use Google Maps.

I think that's quite a bit better than the usual VW group offering as well.

I also have an SE but went for the front sensors rather than rear camera.

Re: HARD RIDE

I suppose it's either a firm ride or wibbly wobbly handling.

I've also come from a Yeti and find the ride on the Kodiaq firm but more than acceptable.

Re: Need to run in before towing

I wanted to get around a 1000 miles on mine before I towed but had to take the van to storage. Only around a 3 mile trip though so
hopefully it won't have done any harm. Over 800 miles now and a couple of weeks to the first proper outing so should be well over the 1k mark
by then.

Re: 5 Seaters for all now showing on the UK Configurator

It didn't cost you £1000 as your car came with the seats as standard.

My SE, had I chosen to order a 7 seat version, would have cost me £1000 extra.

Re: Towing and towbars

There is an older thread on here about the models which can and can't tow.
The brochure now makes it clear which models aren't suitable for towing.
