Re: Windscreen wipers

Not normal for sure.
Are they not working for either flicking the stalk all the way up, or pulling for wash and wipe ?

Re: 17 or wait for 67 plate

Usually, any dealer coatings are a waste of money. Although the coating itself is good, it is best applied by a pro detailer, not a dealer "cleaner" ;) I may be wrong, your dealer may have a pro detailer on board, but I doubt it ! Ceramic coatings need proper prep, something a dealer is unlikely to ...

Re: Mud Flap Fitting Guide.

I can't update the O.P that will have to be done by a mod. But I can repost here ;) Tools required : Dremel, 10mm spanner/socket, Torx Wrench/Bit, Pin Vice. First of ... cutting a part of the plastic trim away (I really fail to see why Skoda could not have made the part the right shape in the first ...

Re: Looks like I need a warranty claim :(

No, they look the same, but apparently there are 2 different assembly types (internally).
The new door cards come with half a handle, and the other half is supplied as a separate part.
I did ask the garage to make sure they had a liberal silicone greasing on fitting the new ones.

For the sake of a week and a bit, I'd wait for the 67 plate.
Seconded :)

heated wash jets are standard on all models, I believe.
Nope, you can either select just those at an extra £35, or they are a forced option if you specify heated front screen.

Re: Looks like I need a warranty claim :(

New door panel cards all round, on the plus side no more creaky handles and a couple of rattle/squeaks over bumps now gone. :)
Replacement clips installed for front wing external lower plastics, and they are good now.
On the negative side, still gaps were the armrests meets the door card :(

Re: Questions about spare tire and heated windshield

It may be that Sweden has many cars with it as standard, but in the UK most cars don't.
Maybe The marketing bods for Swedish configuration overlooked that.
