Re: So long, and thanks for all the fish !

Yep very disillusioned, mostly with the build quality/material choices in some areas. To drive there were plenty of positives, comfort, interior sound levels, etc, but still for me, the car isn't up to standard for its costs. Granted I had near the most expensive model and with nearly 4K worth of ex...

Re: So long, and thanks for all the fish !

Yeah, unfortunately once I get bee in me bonnet it keeps buzzing. I may be too fussy for my own good  Then get a few minor niggly random errors on top and I began to wonder what would it bring long term. I never seemed to get on with the high up position either, despite the age friendly ease of...

Re: Looks like I need a warranty claim :(

A couple of weeks after new door cards fitted, and small signs that the creak will return :(
Won't be my problem now, as I am getting rid of the K, but a pity to see that its likely to be back.

So long, and thanks for all the fish !

Well its been good interacting with you guys on the forums, and I will likely pop in every now and then. But I did feel a bit disappointed in some ways (not all) with my new Kodiaq, and it soon will be going to look for a new owner and be replaced with a Superb 280 Sportline. I do feel Skoda QC has ...

Re: Apple car play

It doesn't automatically.
You have to ask it via voice or screen touch, then it will read out any unread texts you get.
You can also get it to read out older ones if desired.

Re: Optional extras. Are they worth the money

Any optional extras are not going to benefit resale amounts, but could give your car the edge over another come sale time.
So add what you would want/use that seems worth it to you for the period you intend to keep the car.
I have it and its a nice feature, but not at all necessary ;)

Re: Door Sill Protectors - Opinions??

If anything like ones I had on the Octavia, they have self adhesive strips underneath, just measure and mark position with masking tape and stick on.

As for the OP, the additional ones do seem to offer more protection area, but I have keep the factory fit and they do fine.
