Re: Whats you your favourite tip/ feature?

Tips & hints .. 1, Tyre pressures have two pressure options. The eco option which is higher pressure makes the ride crashy and brittle. Suggest sticking to the lower comfort pressure. 2. With auto start/stop and autohold, When sat still at lights and the engine is off you can touch the accelerator v...

Re: Door guard breaks - ON COLLECTION!

They are simply useless in my opinion. First, they serve no real purpose. The protection needed is from other doors, not your own. Mine failed to work day one, despite dealer intervention have never been fixed. I removed them and forgot about them. You should check no marks are left on the frame its...

Very nice, that looks very good indeed with the sport line finish. Nice running boards too.

Re: Car movement data -- is it registered/stored somewhere?

The Skoda connect portal intimates certain data tags are collected and sent to google analytics. Not particularly clear on what data is used but potentially location tracking could be there. Equally the on-board sim and if installed infotainment sim may well have cell location stored with the mobile...

Re: Airbag and SOS warning

It’s Halfords, that says it all unfortunately. Never ever trust them to touch your car. Like trusting Kwikfit with tyres and not expecting a new exhaust, tracking and a set of incorrectly balanced tyres. You should have the dealer look at how they connected it up. As long as there are no persistent ...

Re: New Kodiaq owner..

I owned two French cars in my life. Both the cars and dealer network let me down hugely. Vowed never to buy either of those brands again in my life. Good decision to move on I reckon. The most reliable car I have owned was my last Skoda Fabia for 10 years and 110,000 miles of virtually trouble free ...

Re: Start/stop......it's now driving me nuts!

You have options with regard start stop. You can read the road, if you see the traffic is stopped when approaching and about to move away, ease off or equally pull up more quickly and allow the car to stop and then restart. That is my approach. You have to drive to the system, very much like you do ...

Re: 3 child seat problem!

I have 3 kids. Realistically you will not fit 3 seats across the 2nd row. Use 1 seat from the 3rd row and use a roof box. You will need to compromise somewhere. You could possible fit 3 seats across the 2nd row if they butt up to the doors but then you have the issue of protection. You have no space...
