Re: [off topic] Don't get caught by the pedants of this nanny state

I'd be surprised if anyone actually got penalised for it

Re: Start/stop Bullsh*it?

I had a Toyota Auris with CVT. Ruined the car for me with all the revving.

Re: Kodiaq car insurance

The primary insurers will only pay the market value anyway so just guess at that. Depreciation is roughly 50% over 3 years so about 20% less than what you paid a year ago.

The GAP insurance can be cancelled and you might be able to get a partial refund for the period not used.

Re: Start/stop Bullsh*it?

Good entertainment if nothing else.
I hate SS, always have. I asked Audi about disabling it and the answer came back from Germany "No".
So turning it off is part of my pre-flight checks every time I get in the car

Re: Kodiaq for the Pope?

I think they'll provide a bulletproof Roomster. They look like a smaller Popemobile

Also useful for narrow Cornish lanes and to dry the mirror glass

Re: Is there anything you would have had or not in hindsight

I wouldn't have bothered with the Williams paint protection. Otherwise I'm very happy with my options.

Would have liked the blind spot detection and heated rear seats, but certainly not essentials for me. Also I think I would have gone with Petrol Blue instead of black paint.

Re: Connect (or not!)

Yeah that's not right Steve. It should spin for a couple of secs then display search results. Sounds like it's not connecting to Google from the app. Hopefully will correct itself as these Connect apps malfunction quite often.

Hope you didn't miss the Chilli n Cheese festival because of it ;-)

Re: Model Year 19 Changes

The black Triglav option is a great idea. I bet they didn't sell many as accessories at £1k for the set.

Re: Uncomfortable driver seat

My lower back pain doesn't happen anymore. I reclined the seat a bit more as Colin suggested, but at 6k miles I think the seat has softened a bit.
