Re: kodiaq

was really just wondering if while towing, lower gear selection may be advised when descending on hills while towing, and on steep gradients.....or will the car do the work?? I can't speak for what it does when towing, but in general driving the car will detect when you are descending and braking, an...

Re: Remote start

I believe the intention is/was to have that functionality, plus interior heating control. My guess would be that they are not implementing it because they haven't found a way to do it securely. Currently you can't do anything harmful with it. Remote start/unlock/heating could allow the car to be sto...

Re: Am I missing bits in my boot?

The boot tidies should fit perfectly in a cut out of the foam around the spare wheel

Re: Uncomfortable driver seat

Yes! I get lower back pain quite quickly and I assumed it was because the seat just needs breaking in. Using heated seat to help.

Mine are alcantara. Never had this problem before. Been trying different positions but the bottom line (no pun intended) is that the seat feels too hard.

Re: Anyone had their Triglav wheels painted black?

Had mine done in gloss black with diamond cut face (same as the proper Skoda ones).

Platinum Alloys in Swindon did it for £384 via my the local Skoda dealer.

Re: The best and worst car thread

Good thread!

Favourite I can't decide. Vauxhall Cavalier SRi or Audi A3 (old shape). Both handled brilliantly, had plenty of power, refinement and reliability.

Worst would be the 1998 Ford Escort. Fixed Or Repaired Daily as the acronym goes. And not exactly an awesome drive either.
