Re: Hello and new order

I wouldn't worry about power too much. My previous car was a Volvo V50 with a 2.4 5 cylinder D5 diesel engine which was both quick and pulled like a train. I can honestly say that I have been pleasantly surprised with the power of the 2.0 TDI 150ps and have not found it lacking at all!

Re: Hello and new order

Welcome!

You can't adjust the length of the base of the seat but it does allow you to adjust the height of the front and back independently.

Re: Yellow warning triangle?

I had the warning triangle the other day and it was simply because the washer fluid was getting low. As soon as I had filled it the warning went off.

Seemed a bit over the top for washer fluid!

Re: Adaptive lights and heated wing mirrors....are mine working?

I was out in mine last night for the first time on an unlit country road and can confirm the auto high beam only works when there are no street lights and you are traveling above 40mph. I accelerated above 40mph and they came on and as soon as I dropped below they went off.

Re: Hello new to the Skoda world

I too was new to Skoda moving from a Volvo V50 D5 R-Design SE Sport and must say I also have been impressed. It's a different beast and has all the power i need in this type of car.

I too have a wiggly stick, there don't seem to be many of us about!

It's stopped raining and now it's clean!

I picked our new car up on 29th September but it's either been raining or the car was too dirty to take any photos!

Here it is all clean, really pleased with it 600 miles on the clock and very impressed with everything about it.

Re: Owners Register

Thanks for adding me, could you make a small change? I have a 6M rather than a 7DSG.

Thanks,
Stuart

Re: Dog Guard

I have used a Travall dog guard with the divider in my last car, there not cheap but a really good fit and really solid. Very easy to install and remove.
