Re: Drivers window noise

We had to take ours back to the dealer with the same thing but on the passengers side, it also let in water when we used a jet wash on that side. Dealer had it in for the day and agreed that the door needed adjustment. Wind noise has reduced now but I've yet to test the jet wash.

Re: Options worth it- canton, heated windscree, ACC

Definitely go for the heated front screen, in the winter it cleared a frozen windscreen in about 30 seconds, it's also been beneficial in the hot summer by keeping the car noticeably cooler compared to our other car which does not have the special silver stuff in the screen.

Re: Skoda recommends us to carry oil

Point one. The dealer is yanking your chain. Name & shame him here. DIp you oil occasionally and IF (which I doubt) it needs any, then buy it from the forecourt next time you refuel. I have had a Fabia 1.2 DSG and 3 Yeti 1.2 DSGs + the Kodiaq. I have NEVER put any oil in ANY of them between service...

Re: Skoda recommends us to carry oil

Yes, I thought the change was going to be at 10k but a warning flashed up last week saying it was due in 600 miles, so we booked it in.

Re: Skoda recommends us to carry oil

Hi,

Yes the dealership recommends carrying a litre of top up oil at £16. I think it's just them trying to get every penny out of you.

Skoda recommends us to carry oil

Hi All,

Ours went in today for an oil change at 6000 miles, they seem to be pushing us to carry oil in the car, not had this before with any other car so interested to know if anyone else with the 1.4 petrol has the same?

Re: Servicing intervals

Interesting, we had a an oil change warning come up at about 4,500 miles and it goes in this week. The car is about 10 months old.

Ouch new tyre needed

Hi All,

I found a 2 inch screw in my tyre the other day and phoned around for prices, I have Hankook Ventus S1 evo2 and had to pay £176.00 to get one fitted. I wouldn't have minded but the car has only done 3,900 miles.

Re: Faults requiring warranty claim. PUT HERE>

We have our Kodi going in tomorrow as the passenger door leaks from the top of the window when you use a jet wash against the window, you can also hear elevated wind noise from that side of the car. None of the other windows let in water from the same jet wash source. No other faults to report thoug...
