Re: Diesel vs Petrol

Er. ... there Is NO existing restriction in London which affects whether you buy a petrol or diesel Kodiaq. Nor is any planned, so far. So, let's be careful about what we are calling FACT. There is indeed some existing restriction on older diesel vans, lorries and motorhomes. Beyond that, other thi...

Re: Diesel vs Petrol

Until it actually happens it's not a fact. You are entitled to your own opinions, but not your own facts! It is happening in London, it has happened in London. Fact. There is a whole plethora of legislation out there that hits the diesel engine harder than the petrol, misguided or not. Not MY facts...

Re: Diesel vs Petrol

Yip. The silence of the petrolites is " DEAFENING" . Oh how quick they were to slam us dirty, unrefined, stinking, dieselers, when they, stupidly imho, slammed our choices. I did try to tell them but, oh no. I just hope their ditritus didnt sway too many people in the wrong direction. I wonder if a...

Re: Real MPG!?

Well, for the first time since owning the car, i had the full seven seats in use, 6 adults and 1 5 month old Granddaughter. A 200 mile round trip of, mainly fast ( ish ) A roads and Motorway and the fuel consumption wasnt too bad at all, I had switched to 'normal mode' for the journey. The real poin...

Driving in sport mode will guzzle fuel at an extraordinary rate.
I don't even know why they have a sport mode on an SUV.
Ive tried all modes, even the individual settings and Sport suits me better.
It sharpens the car up considerably.
Horses for courses and all that.

Re: Real MPG!?

Well, having now clocked over 2000 miles in my 1.4 150BHP manual 4x4, I can now say that economy really is not it's strong point.... :D Lots of mixed driving, town, motorway etc and the fuel gauge has a tendency to start moving towards empty quicker than I would have hoped. It would, probably, give ...

Re: Karoq Launch At Meadens

I popped into my dealer this morning, Walkers of Kings Lynn, to pick a boot mat up. A couple were looking around a Karoq, sitting in it etc. As I walked past I overheared the salesman with them tell them that the model they were sitting in was £33k. I have no idea if I misheard but, if that was true...

Re: Issues with Columbus & Canton in SEL

The only issue I have had/having is when you try and voice command to switch from, say, CD to Radio and the voice tells you that it cannot find the address or the phone is not connected or something. It even happens when im saying R A Y D I O T W O as clearly as is possible. Doesn't happen all the t...
