Re: Lost everything I've written !!

When I'm going to compose a long reply to a posting I tend to write it in Microsoft Word which has auto save functionality anyway.

It's important to remember that websites use sessions, which can time out resulting in a posting being lost if too much time has elapsed.

Re: Sat Nav

For some reason both the Kodiaq and the Octavia vRS we had both came delivered with the satnav set to avoid motorways andtolls so the routing was quite creative. I assume it’s the factory default. Are you sure it wasn't set to avoid Trolls instead? :P Seriously though I've found the standard Satnav...

Kodiaq Mk. II

If they were looking to release a Kodiaq Mk. II, what things about the current version would you change? For me by far the worst thing about the Kodiaq is the pathetic reversing lights which could so easily and cheaply be improved. The current voice recognition is not worth using. I know lots of peo...

Re: Whats you your favourite tip/ feature?

I`ve had cruise control on my cars for decades but this newest auto sensing innovation is just superb especially when it`s been a long journey and perhaps concentration is lagging. Isn't that really the time to pull in, get some fresh air, and pay through the nose for a cup of tea or coffee!!! I'm ...

Re: New Edition yesterday .... and opening boot!

It's an option. I didn't spec it for my car.

Re: vRS Orders opened today

Don't get me wrong. I'm not endorsing the vRS. For what its worth I think the Sportline is a bit of a damp squib too. I think the Edition looks as good and offers better value for money. For that matter had I waited for the Sportline I'd have been quite annoyed because you cant spec it as I'd have w...

Re: New Edition yesterday .... and opening boot!

Picked up our new Edition yesterday (UK based) and am generally thrilled. A few things to get used to....the biggest shock being going to a friends last night and coming out at midnight to find the boot was wide open. Aaargh. All we can think is that hubby pressed the fob button accidentally whilst...

vRS Orders opened today

Just for reference today they started taking orders for the vRS.

Personally I think its lovely, but add the toys to bring it up to the spec of the Edition and it starts to get very expensive!

Anyone ordered one yet?
