Re: Headlight discoloration

Is it a misty kind of discolouration?

Do you park your car so the sun is shining on the front of it a lot of the time?

Poly-carbonate headlights tend to go milky over time if exposed to a lot of sunlight.

T-cut or similar products often helps reduce the problem.

Re: Launch control

I must confess that I do not understand why anyone intending to use a "Launch Control" woud buy a Kodiaq in the first place. I am definitely getting old! :o Basically, just what I said, We old farts must stick together and proceed at a sedate pace!. Hey! I said the same and I'm not an old far...

Re: Should I be concerned?

You can always call and ask if you can have a little look at it :)

I saw my car 2 weeks before we collected it!

I'd suggest that since it isn't covered in the manual it isn't considered to be a feature.
It’s covered on page 212 in my owners manual..

I stand corrected. Still unconvinced by the wisdom of it though!

Re: Maybe I`m a bit thick but.......

I can read a map whilst driving and simultaneously send emails and open an Opal fruit with one hand, you would be amazed how many accidents I have seen behind me.
Opal Fruit? Now there's a blast from the past! Don't you mean Starburst? :P

Re: Can you purchase ‘sportline’ bodykit?

I think I agree with FoxtrotAlpha here. As a youngster I bought a VW Golf GT TDI with a manufacturer fitted bodykit and it caused be a whole load of problems. Even though a VW main dealer did it before the vehicle was delievered we had all kinds of issues with the way in which it had been fitted, th...

Re: Launch control

I'd suggest that since it isn't covered in the manual it isn't considered to be a feature. Just because the software for some models where it was advertised might work on other models it doesn't mean it is a recommended or suggested practice and I can fully see why in the event of it damaging a vehi...

Re: Launch control

Although I do like going quickly sometimes, I'd echo Colin's question really. Why?

Re: Order gone wrong

I'd suggest it also depends whether: a) What arrived is more or less expensive than they are asking you to pay for and b) If you can live with what arrived? If the package that arrived would have been more expensive, and would do you just as well but they are offering it for the same money I'd proba...
