My understanding was that the full factory extended warranty was only available if you took it out before the car was registered.
That's exactly what my dealer told me
Contradicts what I was told.... hmmm.

Re: Extended Warranty

When I bought my car, the dealers advice was, since you don't have to take it out on day one, take it out as late as possible in case you decide you don't like the car or want to upgrade it in the meantime.

Re: kessy key got wet now the buttons don't work

Personally I'd remove the battery, rinse it thoroughly in distilled water and then try the rice again.

No promises, but its often residue left behind when the first lot of water dries....

It IS, as far as I am aware an EU 'Nanny State' directive that S/S is 'auto on'.
I've got a novel idea! Let's leave the EU :D

Re: Ventilated Seats OR Folding Table

I love my ventilated seats.

In the Kodiaq demo I had for a few days the seat tables looked really flimsy to me.

I know which I'd choose.

Re: The Skodiaq

I like the dashboard too! If Colin doesn't claim first dibs, can I have it to fit to my Kodiaq please? :P

Re: Volume at turn-on

Annoyingly to me you don't seem to be able to set it to silent.

Re: Whistle sound from passenger mirror

Perhaps a little bit of clear bathroom sealant or the like which would also be easily removable?

I'd 3d print a part and test it if I saw any sign of the problem on my car. Anyone else want to design the part and I'll print a few test pieces?
