Re: SOS warning message / problem

The SOS message has happened in mine from the start in January, but about six weeks ago it pretty much stopped. Last week it started again, usually about 5 or 6 times in a fifty mile trip. I used to think it was because of patchy mobile coverage, but the SIM in the Columbus system (uses EE network) ...

Re: 'E' gearbox mode resets to 'D' on restart

I don't tend to bother with ECO as ACC, which I use a lot, doesn't seem to use coasting at all.

Re: Real MPG!?

Well am I glad I didn't waste my ££ on a TDi ! Mind you I only do about 6k a year. With mainly very short runs, not really getting to proper running temp. But I am getting 30-33 round town and best ever cross country 44 so bearing in mind the price difference between the two fuels I'm doing just ab...

Re: Best optional extra? Best accessory?

I really like the pano roof. But be warned while it doesnt reduce front headroom it limits the rear one by a lot. My lads are all over six foot and didn't have any complaints front or rear. Plus I specified the reversing camera which is great, however my favourite option is definitely ACC - as the ...

Re: Real MPG!?

After 3000 miles getting 46 on short runs to work and back. Just done 300 miles south to Edinburgh on A9 (mixed single and dual carriageway) and got 56 mpg. Both these figures confirmed at fill up time (I always fill to second click off on the pump). 2wd and sticking to the 150TDI was an obvious cho...

Re: SOS alarm

This seems to happen in the same place as I drive to work - the light next to the button is red at home (get SOS message) then it goes green as I drive out of town and turns red again (get the message) as I go over the hill out of town. It goes green again before I get to work another few miles. I w...

Connect App password not working

Connect app (on Android) has been working fine - but this afternoon its stopped working and either says account or password invalid, or it redirects to the website. I can log into the website ok.

Anyone else have this problem? I've tried clearing the cache and re-installing.

Michelin cross climates on 17inch Ratikon at the moment, will go to the standard Trigalev's with the unused Hankooks it came with for the summer.

Finally after 5 months including seat-gate we have collected the Kodiaq πŸ˜€πŸ˜€πŸ˜€
Final wait of two weeks was for the additional set of Ratikon alloys and Michelin cross climates. The four standard alloys and tyres fit well in the 5 seat boot πŸ˜€
