Re: Anyone else have a broken Emergency Call System?

Joking aside, search the forums using keyword " SOS ". You'll find lots of people with the same problem. I think all took it back to their dealers and had it fixed. They may already have seen a Kodiaq with the same problem and will know what to look for. Otherwise SUK can provide guidance. It seems ...

Re: MY 19 Alarm B pillar missing?

Checked and confirmed: my 2017 Kodiaq does not have the button. I looked in the manual about disabling the alarm. The only reference I could find was via the aforementioned infotainment menu system. I agree the double button press is far more convenient. Why would they not mention this in the manual...

Re: MY 19 Alarm B pillar missing?

I am going to have a look for this button on my Kodiaq, because I never knew it existed.
The Kodiaq's electronic manual makes no mention of this button.

Yep, useless looking thing. File beside Range Rover Evoque. At least it's not a soft top though.
Agree.
But you do see quite a few Evoques around.
People do want them.

[edit: I like the "Tonka" wheels though]

Re: insurance? what do you pay?

Don't forget your cooling down period.
If you looked again - say; next week - and found a much cheaper, yet comparable quote, then your statutory right to cancel and get your money back in full applies.

Re: insurance? what do you pay?

When I search these price comparison websites for any insurance (car, home, other) I will obviously choose one from the top of the results. I have never looked, but I would imagine that at the bottom of the list are the companies that want silly money like quoted to kodibliaq. Perhaps even worse. It...

Re: Help, I've Bought A Fridge

As you say, press the door handle sensor within 5 seconds of locking. You MUST use the fob to lock first.
Or carry the fobs in an RF pouch.
Or swap for an SE.

Those are the only options. In order of ridiculousness.

Re: insurance? what do you pay?

Don't crims prefer the country side these days?
Away from prying CCTV and mobile phones and dash cams etc.
And no police presence for miles(¹)

(¹) goes for everyone these days, but had to be mentioned to make the argument stronger ;-)

I’d be happy if it had come with a manual but no option as standard. Don’t think I’ve had paid for it if I’m honest.
Hear! Hear!
Exactly what I have said in the past about the electric tailgate. In fact, I said I'd go further and would pay £10 to NOT have it. I still would today.
