Re: Kodiaq bootliner available

Re-opening an old thread. I did look to see for other similar, more recent threads, but either these do not exist or my search terms are rubbish. Does anyone know of a cheaper alternative? Preferably with a bumper flap. (for the 7 seater with 3rd row folded down). We have recently gained a dog and w...

Re: Potential price increases

I wonder if - in the eventuality of a hard Brexit and car forecourt prices jumping up 10% - if people in the UK will start importing their cars themselves again to save £ thousands.

Like we did in the late 1990's and early 2000's.

Holding down the lock and unlock button will close or open the windows respectively
This is a very useful function indeed.
One that I used on quite a few occasions during the hot weather last summer.

Re: New Skoda Baby SUV KAMIQ

Awwww, how cute is that? My Kodiaq will pick one of these out of its teeth. Let's hope this will dethrone the aberration that is known as the Nissan Juke from the no.1 spot for female millennial transport wagon. Nissan make nice cars, but what a bender that was when they cooked that one up. Apologie...

Re: DSG clutch wear if left in gear ?

Guys, A Mercedes engineer from my swim club has clued me in a little. Or at least tried to. He says the modern automatic transmissions use a torque converter. See also: https://energyeducation.ca/encyclopedia/Drive_train And... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bRcDvCj_JPs But is a torque converter ju...

Re: DSG clutch wear if left in gear ?

This is certainly one of the most interesting threads in a long while. And one that affects me personally, seeing as I too have a DSG. The problem is; I don't think we're ever going to be 100% sure we're treating the clutch correctly. Advice from different sources will always conflict and people cho...

Re: Kodiaq Mk. II

Better lumbar support on seats.
It doesn't need to be electrically adjustable either. I don't mind twisting a knob.

Usual gripes applicable to SE-L and upward:
Make KESSY optional.
Make electric tailgate optional.

Re: Electric Boot Problems

Hey, it's all new.
There will be an adjustment period.

Besides, yours was a plausible problem.
What you describe does occur and it's not the person at fault. Just search this forum for chats about the boot lid.
