I have to be honest on collecting the car I have changed my mind. I was surprised how nice it actually looks.
As long as you are happy, that’s all that matters. Enjoy the car.

Where in the country are you?
How much are the tyres and are they the seal inside variety ?
Prices are GBP so you would assume it’s UK, but Making assumptions doesn’t always work.

Knowing the tyre sizes would be advantageous. Might be interested in them.

Re: Changing wheels

I appreciate your input. I have dropped the ball to be honest because we have committed to the pcp and signed all the paperwork etc. Then ten mins later I found a se drive which is around £1500 more. But I am under the impression we are committed now to the se. I haven't seen the car as buying from...

However I do have a damper on the car-wheels! It has the standard wheels and I cant help but think they let the car down. What is the proced...

Re: Edition in petrol blue - finally arrived!

Here’s a question that is probably stupid as I know next to nothing about detailing, but here goes. I have a small Karcher pressure washer with a car shampoo attachment, can you put snow foam through that? I don’t wash the car that often so I’m not going to invest in anything to specialist. I would...

Re: Edition in petrol blue - finally arrived!

Very nice choice, loving the black Triglav alloys! Also very shiny - next task is to keep it that way! I've just invested in the full suite of the Autoglym Polar range including the Polar Blaster gun. I've been using the Polar Blast snow foam for a while, but just in my original Karcher foam adapte...

Re: PCP finance deal - Skoda pays first 3 months

I also got an email from a Skoda dealer (TelfordS - not one I used, but I can bet most are doing it in an attempt to kick start their businesses post lockdown) that states: We pay first 3 months payments* + Between £2250 and £4250 towards a deposit* + 3 years road side assistance* *This is on the fu...

Re: Edition in petrol blue - finally arrived!

Good choice on the alloys, the black Triglav look better in my option that the standards. The virtual cockpit is worth every penny, would hate to go back to the old dials. We got the driver personalisation mode too which we use allot, £45 extra for that and you get a third key too..

Re: Alloy insurance

Again with 19" Triglavs the tyre wall protrudes and is deep enough to avoid scuffing. 3 years and not a mark. Depends on alloy size and tyre. I had 19" Triglavs on my old Kodiaq and you are right the tyre wall does offer some protection but not 100%, it wont protect against a kerb if attacked from ...
