Re: Switch trip to odometer in virtual cockpit

I can’t figure out how to display the odometer instead of the trip computer in the virtual cockpit. Does anyone know if it can be done and if so, how do you do it? I also have the virtual cockpit which I think is worth every penny extra. My previous Kodiaq had the maxidot display which from memory ...

Re: 1.5 TSI OR 2.0 TDI SEL DSG

Yes your spot on, that's the future it's just some of us are ahead of the game. PCP'S are stupid prices and you loose to much in depreciation if buying with cash. I only do about 6-8000 miles PA so this time opted for a petrol,l could not justify £2500 more for the diesel and could buy a lot of pet...

Re: 1.5 TSI OR 2.0 TDI SEL DSG

i thought posts are for helping and informative not bragging about who has more money etc. Getting back to my original posts,I have now road tested a Kodiaq 1.5tsi dsg and found performance to be very good didn't seem that much different to the Tiguan 2.0 tdi dsg but was only a short drive. Seen bo...

Re: Fob Battery

Take it to your Skoda dealer. Took mine last week after the same message, changed for free, didn't even charge for the new battery, took 5 minutes. You're blessed! My lot nonchalantly quoted me a hypothetical "something like £60-70" when I asked hypothetically how easy it was to change. Which insti...

Just use Google and youtube I am sure you will find a video explaining how to change the battery yourself
Or read the manual that came with the car or online?

Theres a plethora of information in it. Amazing really.

Re: Fob Battery

Thanks guys.I was going to ask the same questions Kevinthepenguin asked! Should it be done by the dealer for warranty reasons or any garage? It’s really quite simple to change the battery in the key fob, instructions are in the manual, these include how to synchronise the key if required. It’s unde...

Re: Kodiaq GPS incorrect location

Not sure this helps but it was posted on here back in the day.

Seems like it’s could require a GPS module reset, never even heard of one of those.

Sounds like Skoda techs need to do it.

Re: Kodiaq GPS incorrect location

2018 Kodiaq 1.4 DSG edition. The Satnav was working but now its showing an incorrect location. I've downloaded latest maps & turned it off & on again but no luck GPS is showing an incorrect location about 200 mtrs out making satnav useless. Anyone any ideas on resetting GPS? Have you tried to reset...

Re: 1.5 TSI OR 2.0 TDI SEL DSG

I love my 1.5 DSG. I wouldn't swap it for an oiler even with the improved consumption of the latter. My other consideration is that mine is MY car paid for with CASH and I'm not prepared to loose loadsa munny on P/Xing it, bearing in mind I usually change cars every year, or put up with all the cr@...

Re: 1.5 TSI OR 2.0 TDI SEL DSG

I got a MY20 1.5 SE L manual a couple weeks back after test driving the 2.0 TDI DSG initially so might be in a good position to comment a little. I think the torque thing will be noticeable but I personally don't think that the 1.5 TSI is under powered despite being worried it might be. It's no spo...
